A few things you might be wondering.
Choosing a website shouldn’t feel complicated. Here are the answers to some of the questions I get asked most often.
How quickly can my website be ready?
Once I’ve got everything I need from you, most websites can be built and ready for you to review pretty quickly, typically within 7-10 days. I’ll let you know what I need and keep you updated throughout, so you’re never left wondering what’s happening.
What if I don't know what to write?
That’s exactly what the Supported and Growth packages are for. Tell me about your business and I’ll write the website content for you, making sure it’s clear, professional and written with your customers in mind.
If you choose Starter, you’ll provide the finished wording and images you’d like me to use.
Is there a minimum contract?
Yes. All website packages have a 12-month minimum term.
This allows me to keep your website hosted, maintained and supported rather than simply building it and disappearing. After the initial 12 months, you can continue with your package or cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Do I need to already have a domain name?
No. If you don’t already have one, your website package includes a .co.uk domain name. If you’ve already got a domain, I can help you get everything connected.
Will my website show up on Google?
Your website will be built with the foundations Google needs to understand it, we will also submit it to Google so it can be crawled and indexed but no one can genuinely promise where a website will rank.
If being found for more services and locations is a priority, Growth is the package I’d recommend. We’ll continue developing your website after launch, using search and keyword research alongside real Search Console data to guide what we work on next.
Can I change my website after it goes live?
Yes. Your website isn’t frozen the second it goes live.
Supported and Growth include help with small content changes, and I’ll continue working on Growth websites as part of the ongoing package. If you need something bigger added, just get in touch and I’ll let you know what’s involved.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Yes. You don’t need to choose the biggest package just because you might need it one day.
Start with the package that suits your business now, and if you need more support or want to start developing the website further, you can upgrade later.
What if I already have a website?
That’s absolutely fine. If your current website isn’t doing what you need it to, I can build you a new one and help make the move as straightforward as possible.
